I'm no expert either, but the feel/look of good quality leather (my favorite being the soft, pebbly type) makes such a big difference! I'm going to need the name of that secondhand designer store in Georgetown since I'm close by 😂
Omg YES a local girlie! The shop is called Ella Rue and it's on P Street! It's actually right around the corner from Yellow, which is where we got the coconut foam cold brews from. Highly recommend, but if you're close to Georgetown, you probably already know the magic that is Yellow 😍
Me too! I joke that it's my frontal lobe developing but I think it's just more that I've come to realize how much money I was wasting on things that were low quality and would quickly wear out. I have always liked nice/elegant things, but now I am realizing I would rather save and spend once on high quality fancy girl things than multiple times on low quality things.
Currently loving/wanting a sezane jumper, antique coup glasses, high quality makeup staples, quality leather purse, quality leather band watches
Wait, your loving/wanting list is literally mine too 🥹 Except the antique coup glasses—I just had regular ones on my list but maybe I need to score a vintage set? I love going to estate sales, I'll have to keep my eyes out for them!
My mom has this gorgeous set from a vintage shop that are so delicate and have a gold rim. I love them & glad she decided to not pass on them!! I’ve been dying to find some estate sales near me. Seems so interesting
Omggg they sound so dreamy! I stumbled upon an estate sale Instagram account and I’m obsessed. She does all the heavy lifting and finds cute sales and shares them every week. Could be worth doing a search for your city!! 😍
Clear skin, early bed time, fancy slippers, freshly pressed clothing, clean house, evening showers by candle light with soft music & personal towel warmer, quiet alone time, bouncy blow outs, home made meals
Rly into my fancy girl furniture era rn! I was sick of spending hundreds of dollars in a cyclical pattern every few months because my “inexpensive” Wayfair or Target furniture wore out within a year, which eventually turned into the same thousand dollar cost of one piece that could’ve lasted me a lot longer… A lot of higher-end furniture stores offer Affirm payments so now my house has classic pieces that will last forever and I didn’t have to shell out all at once 🥂
YES! Big fan of Albany Park for sofas/chairs. Kova Corner Sectional sofa and Albany Armchair/Ottoman are in our living room and Park Sectional sofa is in our bonus room! Kova is more durable but we are obsessed with all items after 3 years still. And they sell replacement cushions/covers if you need them in the future! (we have a Husky and still don’t need any fabric replacements) 🫶🏻
WAIT this is so funny, I have an Albany Park Lido sofa that I love! It’s in my office and I’ve been thinking about a new sofa for our living room but I didn’t even think about another Albany Park one 😂 Is this a sign? I also didn’t know they sell replacement cushions! Wowowow, tysm for sharing!! 🤍
Eeee thank you Ella!! And omg I think almond croissants are my favorite croissant, for sure. I just finished Ina Garten’s memoir and she talks about the smell of coffee brewing mixed with warm croissant and the whole time I was just thinking that’s the epitome of chic. What a dream!! 😍
Loove it!!
Eeeee thank you Queen!! 🥂✨
Obsessed with this
Omg yeeeees 🥹 Thank you queen! 🫶🏼

LOL YAY!!! Yes it is a sign 😂 The Kova collection is magical for living rooms, soooo roomy and comfy! 🩷
I loved reading this Kristen!!! I’ve only felt real Chanel leather once and I remember being stunned by how soft it was. It was beautiful.
Something I’d have to have on my list is an almond croissant - I don’t know why they seem so chic to me!!
